Dragon's dream TIO # 66 - Zentangle

This was such fun, I missed my bedtime. Frankie's challenge coincided with the arrival of this heart stamp from Barbara Gray of Clarity stamps so I used that as my centre piece then doodled. I added colour using ink dusters and DI. I used faded jeans, crushed olive, worn lipstick, dusty concorde and aged mahogany. As I was trying something new I thought I would try making a flower with the zip edged braid I just bought. I was quite pleased with how it turned out but it was hard to stick it together. Think I may be trying Zentangles again!

Thank you for taking a look, any comments you leave are greatly appreciated.

  1. It's fab Jen that heart is great and I love your zip edge flower, well worth doing! Addictive zentangle isn't it? Love Elizabeth x

  3. WOOOOOO I LOVE it!!! You have really caught the feeling, and YES it is addictive... this was a first for me too, but I have put some more up on my DragonsWeb blog... Cynthia told me Barbara did it a while ago but honestly, I missed it, so it was NEW to ME... Thanks for another GREAT dream

  4. Fabulous flower, excellent doodling and the colours are quite explosive! Brilliant start to your new zentangling career. It reminds me of the covers of my brother's school books. He used to do this all day at school - doodling and not paying attention!

  5. Brilliant Zentangle Jen. Love the inked background too.
