CD Sunday - Puss Cat

Had to use my favourite Puss cat image for this challenge from JS Pamela West CD. I used the two backing papers from the CD too. The darker one as a background and the lighter one I pasted on to card and cut out with a Sizzix big die, Fanciful Album. The ribbon and metal sentiment are from my stash.
Thank you for coming by to take a look, all your comments are much appreciated.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 102 - Trains, Planes and Automobiles

The background to my tag is a piece of scrapbook paper that is a world map and I distressed this with Vintage Photo, All the stamps except the compass are from a small set of stamps I bought on sale at Hobby Craft. I stamped using Versifine Sepia. The compass from Creative Expression I embossed in gold. The postcard and money are cut from a Tim Holtz Distressabilities and Doo- dads sheet.

Crafty Ann's Challenge # 52 - Clean and Simple

I just love Crafty Ann's butterflies, this one is a gold one printed onto vellum. I cut it out and added it to a card that I put through a Sizzix embossing folder called "Butterfly migration". I went over this lightly with a Brilliance ink gold.
Thank you for coming by. I hope you will feel inspired to join in with us on this week challenge on Crafty Ann's Challenge blog.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 101 - The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

As I was stamp hunting for this challenge I came across the wheel of fortune which made me think of gambling then cards. Hence my Queen of Hearts and her bad Knave! I went with the red and black theme of the cards distressing half the tag with Fired Brick and the other half with Black Soot. I used a torn piece of paper to get the wavy line where the two colours meet. I have the good and the bad, sorry about the ugly. Thanks for taking a look, all your comments are much appreciated.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge # 175 - Use Silver

In Cynthia's honour a silver anniversary card. The background papers and embellishments, except for the butterflies, are Pam Lefors "Always In My Heart" and the gorgeous silver butterflies are from Crafty Ann. I put the design together in Craft Artist and made a 6 by 6 card.
Hope you will join us this week for Rainbow Lady's challenge to use silver.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 100 - Ticket to Ride

Think my stamps this week are originally from Creative Expression but bought them as individual stamps on a bargain stall at Ally Pally. I stamped and embossed the rails with clear ep in the background then distressed the tag with Weathered Wood and Ant. Linen DI. The locomotive was stamped with black Stazon and embossed with clear ep. I stamped the loco number randomly round the tag. The ticket collector and loco number were stamped and cut out, distressed then added as shown. Thanks for taking a look, all your comments are greatly appreciated.

I used "Oak Leaves" by Chapel Road stamps for this square card. I stamped the background with a number of distress inks, Antique linen, Forest Moss, Aged Mahogany and Wild Honey. The leaves were cut with a TH die from old book pages and inked up.
I love Autumn colours so I enjoyed making this one very much. Thank you for taking a look and hope you will be inspired to join in with us at Rainbow Lady's Challenge blog.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 99 - The Whole of the Moon

My tag this week was inspired by the phrase I see the moon the moon sees me, I know it is a song but do not remember the rest. I used the page of a book which I painted with gesso for my background. The images are stamped in Archival black. The moon is a stamp by Seascapes and the lady a stamp by Indigo Blu. I added the phrase using my Xyron design runner. Thanks for coming to take a look, any comments you leave are much appreciated.

Crafty Ann's Challenge # 51 - Be Inspired by Your Favourite Christmas Song

Inspiration for this challenge is the Slade song "Merry Christmas Everyone" and in particular the line "Are you hanging up your stocking on your wall?". Inspiration too from Ann's metallics. I have used a gold backing paper overlaid with the red Poinsettia paper as my background. In MCS I added the gold garland and used a digital punch to create two stockings using the same gold paper. The sentiment is the line from the song.
Hope to see your crafty take on your favourite Christmas song over at Crafty Ann's challenge blog.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge # 173 - In The Misty Moonlight

This week Rainbow Lady's Challenge is once again sponsored by the very generous Joanne Sheen. I have used an image from her "Enchanted Dreams" CD for my topper, adding just a touch of glitter and a peel off. The backing paper is printed from a Serif kit "Sweet Dreams" and I cut a border along the bottom with my new Martha Stewart punch and then mounted it on silver mirror card. I added a strip of silver mesh from my stash and some rub on letters to spell "dream".
Do take a look at Rainbow Lady's challenge blog and join in for your chance to win a voucher from Joanne.
