Dragon's Dream TIO # 84 - Oh I Do Like to Be Beside The Sea
I used Crafty Individuals stamps for this tag. I do like this lady's swim suit, just right for most English summer days! She is stamped in DI Rusty Hinge on a background of Faded Jeans, Wild Honey and Vintage photo. The post mark is also stamped in Rusty Hinge and is covered with an acetate bubble.

CD Sunday - Mixed Bouquet
My mixed bouquet is a stamp from Chocolate Baroque which I coloured using Promarkers and glittered in places. The mat was cut with Martha Stewart punch. My background paper is from the CD Pattern Sourcebook Nature. I edged the card with ribbon threaded through an Anna Griffin punch and a strip of lace.

Dragon's Dream TIO #84 - Let's Face It
My tag this week is inspired by all those women, mostly unknown, who try to follow their dream despite the odds. The stamp is "Place The Face" by Hampton Art stamps. The faces were coloured with Promarkers then masked and over stamped with a writing stamp by Marion Emberson, using a Colour Box chalk inkpad - Blossom Pastels. The grey from this set was used to distress the edges of the tag. The pieces of film strip and the pearl are Tim Holtz and the words from Making Memories.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are so encouraging thank you.
Rainbow Lady's Challenge # 158 - Digi Day
For this week's challenge I have used Hobby Art stamps, coloured with Promarkers, to create my background scene. The princess playing out front is a digi from Marisha who is kindly sponsoring the challenge this week.

CD Sunday - Tassel Time
Tassels, precious things, so I decided on a bookmark so someone could keep it. My CD is Joanna Sheen's Ivory Cats for the card and the bookmark. The cat is from the shaped card section but I cut it out and used it flat on a card base and slightly decoupaged the top layer so as to form a pocket to hold the bookmark.

My Great Grandma
Been having a play in CA again, this time I wanted a pretty feminine page for my Great Grandma. She was my Mum's Grandma and died aged 96 when I was 5 but I remember her as a very sweet kind old lady and this is my only photograph of her. The kit is from Monika Designs and can be found on Windflower scraps. The kit is called "In Times Past".
Thank you for taking a look all the comments you leave are much appreciated.

Crafty Ann's Challenge - Christmas in June
Love this pre coloured Poinsettia of Ann's so I printed several onto acetate and cut them out. I used two layers for each flower. I have recently bought a Hougie board so had a go at one of the card designs, the Art Deco fold. I used an A4 sheet of white card embossed with a poinsettia pattern. The sentiment is printed onto acetate using the Xyron design runner. Do check out the other DT members cards on Crafty Ann's Challenge blog and hope you feel inspired to join us for Christmas in June.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 83 - Numbers Game
The Mathematician in me, I used to teach Maths, could not resist the wonderful number Pi. A fascinating number and the game goes on to find the next decimal place. A computer chugs away somewhere in the world doing the calculation and Pi which is a non repeating decimal which never ends has millions of digits. I added a few to my tag. I love that in Maths it is called an irrational, transcendental number. Enough, my tag I kept black and white. I cut Pi and its symbol in Craft robo, Zentangled them and embossed the edges in black. The background is printed and stamped. Had to print Pi! and stamped my calculating machine and head. The stamps are from Avant-Garde #1 from A Stamp in the Hand Co. I added some stamped circles and distressed with Black Soot. Hope you can feel my enthusiasm for Pi. Thanks for looking, any comments you leave are greatly appreciated.
Rainbow Lady's Challenge # 158 - I Am Sailing

For my card I have stamped the topper background with a collage stamp from Artemio using Spice Big and Juicy. The ship from the same set I stamped with Stazon and embossed with clear embossing powder. The second ship was stamped with Versifine and cut out. The background papers are from Dreams of Tranquillity. I added a sentiment designed and cut in Craft Robo and some card candy. Thank you for coming by any comments you leave are greatly appreciated.

A Crafty Kind of Truffle - June Tag Challenge - Wedding
My tag is made from ice white pearl card. The stamp is Something Old- Something New from Stamps Happen. I embossed top and bottom with TH music folder and added two rows of sheer white ribbon dotted with silver. I used stickles in the appropriate colour, gold, pearl and blue on the stamp. Finally I added a rose made in the Crafty Notions mould with white air dry clay and glittered lightly.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are much appreciated.

CD Sunday - If The Shoe Fits
The blame, sorry inspiration for this one rests with my friend Janet. After seeing her entry I went to my digis to check whether or not I had the freebie she flagged up and found this one. I could not resist even though it is more "do we fit the shoe" than "If the shoe fits".
The digi is BTFCShoehouse and the CD is Grandma's Button Box. The shoe was coloured with Promarkers and the frame decoupaged. The background was added with Hobby Art stamps and lightly distressed with ink dusters. Hope it makes you smile.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 82 - Winged Things
Decide to play with airplanes this week. I stamped and clear embossed the world from Creative Expressions Travel stamp set onto silk art card. I swirled this on a mixture of DIs mainly Crushed Olive, Spiced Marmalade and Tumbled Glass. I had previously made the world stamp in UTEE in the melt pot and I used a piece to cover part of the background scene. I stamped the two planes, stamps from Artemio and Habico, in DI onto the background. My jigsaw pieces are crackled and the planes stamped on top with Stazon, then distressed with spiced marmalade. The "explore" is from K & Co and has been in my stash for years.
Enjoyed using all the different techniques to make this but my recently tidied craft room now looks like a bomb has hit it! Thanks for looking, all your comments are much appreciated.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge # 156 - Ticket To Ride
This weeks challenge over at Rainbow Lady's is being sponsored once again by Chi Chi Memories and I have used one of their fun digis for my card this week. I coloured it with Promarkers and edged the topper with Stickles. The backing paper is from DCWV scrapbook pad, Endless Summer. It was already beautifully glittered. The admission tickets are a Tim Holtz stamp cut out and distressed with Vintage Photo.
Thank you for taking a look and I hope you will feel inspired by the DT to have a go and be in with a chance of winning the prize this week.

Pam Lefors Challenge June 6th
Pam's latest challenge is to use her digi kit called Slightly Romantic. Seemed a good chance to us a rare photo of John and I, he is usually behind the lens. This was taken in Cornwall last year. I made my own digi kit in Craft Artist with Pam's papers and embellishments and designed the page there.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are much appreciated.

CD Sunday - Digi Day
My digi comes from Sugar Nellie and she is called Joy. I coloured her with Promarkers and stamped the dots around her using Adirondack Denim. I distressed and edged the topper with glitter. The backing papers are from a Kameo CD " Stripe & Co." The card is A5 with an inch or so taken off the front, so the white dotted paper is on the inside of the card. The punch is from Avec and the ribbon and button from my stash.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are greatly appreciated.

Crafty Ann's Challenge # 42 - Use More Than One Image
I have used Ann's super squirrel surrounded by bluebells for this week's challenge. I coloured the scene with Promarkers and ink dustered the background lightly with DIs Forest Moss and Stormy Skies. It is mounted on green mirri cut with a round the page Martha Stewart punch, then on a 5 by 5 card blank. I have kept my card simple as I think he deserves centre stage.
Do have a look at Crafty ann's challenge blog for some inspiration from the rest of the DT and I look forward to seeing your entry this week.

Dragon's Dream TIO # 81 - Time Piece
For my tag I created my backing paper in MCS using elements from Pam Lefors Essence of Time digi set and a peeled paper of hers from Cilia's Hope Chest. I stamped using a Crafty Individuals stamp onto the torn acetate, and distressed the tag with Black Soot. The sentiment is a quote from James A Garfield which sums up how I feel about aging. I added a pocket watch charm as my time piece. Love the digi kits from Pam, the blog button for both her sites are on the right. She has a super sale on at the minute.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are much appreciated.
