Crafty Ann's Challenge # 32 - Ring in the New But Don't Ring Out The Old

My new here is Crafty Ann's Bluebell digi which I used to make my backing paper and my Derwent watercolour pencils. I had forgotten how nice it is to sit and colour and these pencils are much better quality than my old ones. I went over the colouring with a water brush. The revived skill is my alphabet stamps. I stamped over the bluebell images and coloured them before shaping the letters and covering them with glossy accents. It was a joy to make this card with thoughts of Sring, colouring as a child with my Dad and memories of walks in Bluebell Wood. Who would have thought making a card could do all that. The pleasures of our hobby.
Thank you for taking a look, all your comments are much appreciated.

  3. This is absolutely gorgeous Jen. I love bluebells too and they always make me think of my Dad which is one of the reasons I drew them in the first place. I love the clean look to this beautifully coloured and designed card, thank you so much for joining us again.

  4. Beautiful card Jen and I am glad you enjoyed making it so much. The alphabet letters are brilliant - most unusual and attractive. Isn't it lovely when we get overtaken by happy thoughts when we are crafting?
Thank you for sharing with us at Crafty Anns and hope you will join us again soon.
