On Our Travels With Darcy's Postcard Challenge - Czech Republic

I have this Dark Room Door stamp of Prague so my choice for the postcard was easy. I stamped it in Walnut stain distressed ink and water brushed the colour on. My page shows a view of the city and a map of the country. The Czech Republic is famous for its glassware so I used a photo of a piece called "Crystal Vault" by the artist Jennifer Ashley King for the pocket. This piece won the Stanislav Libensky award in 2011.

Being an Elvis fan my inspiration is from one of  his films " Loving You". Iused Crafty Ann's digi kit Eggstravaganza for my papers and embellishments, except for the butterfly which is from metallics. The roses and papers are soo pretty. I worked in Craft Artist ( CA2) has not arrived yet! Confess to not feeling inspired by Dubai but the horse racing there is something special hence my postcard. For my page I thought I would contrast the changes that have taken place there in a relatively short time.

Crafty Ann's Challenge # 74 - Sketch and Autumn Colours

This is an 8 by 8 card, made using three papers from Crafty Ann's Abstracts 2 set, Autumn colours. The two squares of paper are mounted onto black card then onto the card base. The rosette is 2 one nad a half inch strips joined and punched along one edge. The trimmings were from my stash.

Been away so a bit rushed this week. My memories of holidays in Greece are of fabulous flowers cascading over balconies and sitting on the beach looking at beautiful blue seas. So my postcard is a view from the balcony and my page a beach. Both created in Serif's Craft Artist. Still need to post my card! On Our Travels With Darcy's Postcard Challenge - Egypt

Have a great set of stamps from Habico with lots of images and hieroglyphics so just had fun stamping these to make my postcard and my black and white page. My pocket is a piece of papyrus my partner brought me from Egypt last year. May try stamping on it when I get more time but did not want to mess it up.
