On Our Travels With Darcy's Postcard Challenge - Czech Republic



I have this Dark Room Door stamp of Prague so my choice for the postcard was easy. I stamped it in Walnut stain distressed ink and water brushed the colour on. My page shows a view of the city and a map of the country. The Czech Republic is famous for its glassware so I used a photo of a piece called "Crystal Vault" by the artist Jennifer Ashley King for the pocket. This piece won the Stanislav Libensky award in 2011.

    Wonderfully atmospheric postcard. The watercolouring is perfect for the theme. Just love the glassware, such an iconic page.
