Crafty Ann's Challenge # 26

I did enjoy making this card. I started off thinking I would use one of the venetian masks from Crafty Ann's digis and chose this one, then remembered a sheet of Avec decoupage I have had for years that featured masks. This gave me a colour scheme for the digi mask which I coloured using Promarkers cut out and added gems and ribbon. The background and decoupaged jester were from the sheet and I mounted all onto white card and added the two colours of ribbon. It was a bit short for an A5 card blank so I mounted it onto purple mirri which I left a bit long and edged with a Martha Stewart punch. Colour schemes do not come together for me easily usually, so this felt like serendipity. Hope you like it.
Thank you for taking a look, any comments you leave will be much appreciated.

  1. A beautiful card, Jen - so eyecatching. The colours are an inspiration, they work so well with the white contrast. I think this is an excellent piece of art.

  2. This is utterly breathtaking Jen! I have to echo Janet and say that it is an excellent piece of art because it is way more than a card! I think I'll be back tomorrow to look at it some more!
