On Our Travels With Darcy,s Postcard Challenge - Hungary

Once upon a time I used to do a lot of embroidery and was blown away by the folk art style I found when researching Hungary. So my postcard is in the style of... I found a big embroidery pattern and copied part of it then coloured it using Promarkers. The national flower is the red tulip so they feature. My page shows some examples of the real thing, so beautiful I thought.
Congratulations to all of you still travelling, the postcards are so varied and wonderful Thank you Darcy for organising this each week.

  1. Beautiful postcard and design. Embroidery is a lovely way to depict this country. Your travel page is a feast of colour and the pocket looks fantastic.
