My first ever trip on an airplane was in 1969 when with a small group of fellow students I went to Denmark for a week to study their education system. This is the postcard I sent home to my Mum and Dad!
Open sandwiches were obviously a new one on me!
Many memories this week, as I child I loved Fairy Stories and so loved visiting The Little Mermaid statue when in Copenhagen. So my postcard for this week is a mermaid. The stamp is from Clarity stamps and her scales are made with Stickles.
My page also is a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen and the photos on the page are my originals from that trip.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane Darcy.

That's amazing that you kept the postcard all these years. A treasured memory indeed. You must keep the one you made too - it is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI wish, I can't draw for toffee. She is a stamp drawn by Barbara Gray of Clarity stamps.
