DragonsDream T10 #47 - Shabby Chic

For the background the tag was painted with Rose Eco acrylic paint and this was dried. It was then covered with watered down PVA glue and quickly, before that dried, a coat of Clam shell was added. This was then dried with a heat gun to achieve the peeled paint look. The chair was a wooden stamp from a box of about 50 stamps bought as a set from QVC years ago. Challenges do make you look through your stash. The pink rose, from a page of Victorian scraps, was pasted on using soft gloss gel medium. The lace, red rose and metal charm were glued on as shown.

  1. This is lovely, I love the cracked paint look and such pretty colours.

  2. This is a beautiful interpretation of the theme. The cracked paint is perfect and the lace, roses and pearls were made for one another.
