I thought I would try a technique I use in my scrapbooks on my card this week. My image is from Joanna Sheen's Patience Strong CD and I split the image unevenly and pieced it together again with some pieces higher than others. I added the small version of the image to show how it looks whole. The backing paper is from Anna Griffin and the gems from my stash. Sometimes on a scrapbook page I use three separate photos of the same scene, the centre bigger picture always being the main point of interest.
This is a page where I did that from some photos of the Godrevy lighthouse in Cornwall. Thank you for stopping by, I do appreciate all your comments.
It looks great and I like the little image up above. Lovely card. Hazel x Guest DT
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have split up the image. Very dramatic and moody. It reminds me of the banks of the Helford River at dusk. Another great card Jenny.
