My square card depicts a flower I keep trying, unsuccessfully, to grow Lily of the Valley . The image and backing papers are from Joanna Sheen CD" Floral fantasy". I guess I will have to make do with crafting with this lovely bloom. Thank you for stopping by to look. All your comments are much appreciated.

Hi Jenny
ReplyDeletePlease don't give up with your Lily of the Valley. Mine finally flowered this year after ages and ages. I brought just two stems into the living room and the perfume was beautiful. Perhaps they just take time.
Lovely card.

WOW this is stunning, Lily of the Valley can take years to come up, Mine took 4 and then I blinking moved!!! I adore this card its perfect, Love Hxx
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny. The secret for lily of the valley is to scrounge some from someone who's got it estabished in the garden. The ones you buy in the garden centre take donkeys years to establish - if at al,l and you should dig them up and transplant them while they are in the green. Had masses in Wlkes - too much in the end.
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous - lovely image - pity it doesn't smell though isn't it.
Thank you for joining us again at the CD Sunday challenge and congratulations on coming top last week.

A beautiful flower and a stunning card, we have a few in our garden and hope they will keep increasing over the next couple of years. Do keep trying to grow them, as Carol says, the smell is beautiful. Thanks for joining us at CD Sunday this week and congrats on coming 1st last week.

This is lovely, Jen. I can almost smell the perfume! Your lily of the valley are like my pathetic attempts at growing iris - a total waste of time! I think Beryl has some good advice. Super card.
